This event took place in rolling to hilly Eastside open forest and open land, including portions of LT Murray, Oak Creek, and Wenas Wildlife Areas and adjacent Wenatchee National Forest lands.

The 24-Hour event was the 2012 North American Rogaining Championships, and there were 4-Hour and 9-Hour non-championship options, as well.
